Which hair color should I...?

Helloooo. :)


Well, here's the thing- my red hair dye has long since faded from it's glory days (lol), and I was looking for a change before school starts. I've been dying my hair red for some years now, and I was intent on getting a medium-rich brown color, but then one of my friends said 'wtfno, dye it blonde!'


But I'm not too sure about this.


So anyway, a second opinion can't hurt, right? So I thought I'd ask you all here at Yahoo! answers!! Since you all haven't really ever steered me wrong. (hehehe)


I'll provide a picture for skin tone reference- I have very very light skin tone. Ahahaha... But it looks pinker than usual in this photo because I had blush on. :)

Which hair color should I...?
I think dying your hair blonde would make you look a little out of place there...but dying it medium brown would definitely bring out your eyes and it would look really pretty! So I would go for medium to dark brown. (Careful about dark brown though, because if it's too dark, it would look black.) By the way, just curious, what's your natural hair color?

Reply:I would definately not dye it blonde. because your skin is so light it will make your features seem washed out especially since you have light eyes. I think if you were to dye it the brown color that you were describing it would look really good. it would make your eyes stand out and compliment your skin tone. just make sure not to go too dark.
Reply:Well..first off DONT DYE IT BLONDE im sorry but that wouldnt look right!! Keep dying your hair whatever colour it is in the picture, sure your friend reccomends dying it blonde, but i just cant see it in that pic. Heres some other advice just out of randomness :P you might not wanna smudge your eyeliner or whatever that was cuz it looked like you were crying, and yea your eyebrows do need a little work : P

Blonde wont wash you out, black would. If you do go blonde, I would add in a nice light brown lowlight and maybe some lighter blonde highlights to give your hair even more depth. Seriously though, blonde would suit you wonderfully. Don't let them scare you away from it.

Reply:The only thing about going blonde, if you aren't real careful you will end up with orange hair instead. An all over light brown with blonde highlights would look good. I have naturally blonde hair, and I dyed mine a while back like this from a kit I got at a dept store, where the all over and highlights were in one box. I wish I had a pic, but I don't. It will turn out better than going all blonde, and it won't fry your hair.
