Ok i have three random questions...?

ok my first question (and the most important one) is....

well, we are having a school dance for valentines day and i want to go with someone but the guy i like has a girlfriend so what should i do?

my second question is....

what direction does the fourth dimention go? my dad said that the fourth dimention is time, so it would be length x width x depth x time. if length goes up and down and width goes left and right and depth goes forwards and backwards then what direction does time go??

my third question is...

ok, if dust is made mostly of dead skin cells then how come it collects on things that people don't touch? for example if theres an old house somewhere and no one goes in and cleans it it will get all dusty. but how does it get dusty if the dust is made of skin cells and there werent any people in there???

please don't be mean

thanks for answering

Ok i have three random questions...?
(1) Tread lightly - if you know he's happy in their relationship, it's probably a good idea if you just let him go. If you're not sure how happy he is with her, you can very simply ask him if he'd like to go to the dance with you. The worst that can happen is he could say no!

(2) When you consider time as being the fourth dimension, try not to think of it in terms of which direction it goes - I once watched a video seminar on this, and it was modeled with three-dimensional shapes and curves in a Cartesian (x,y,z) coordinate system, and as you watched the video, the shapes changed over time (t) so that if you were given an ordered quad (x,y,z,t) then you were "graphing" where the point existed in 3-dimensional space, but that point could be somewhere else for different values of t.

Mathematically speaking, there's no limit to the number of "dimensions" you can have, all of which are mathematically "mutually perpendicular" - but this is a concept which really doesn't apply to graphing things in a "three dimensional space" - it's simply a means of establishing a set of relations/equations which are mutually independent from each other. If you really want to make your head hurt, pick up a book on linear algebra. Honestly, though, having taken the class I can't recommend it, unless you're just seriously starved for some abstract math!

(3) Dust is and can be made up of dead skin cells, but it could also be made up of any of a number of things - soil, plant cells, etc.
Reply:I'm sure that sounded very profound in your head.
Reply:Firstly, if the guy has a gf then im afraid it's a no go area. If and when he breaks up with her then u should definately go for it. Until then, dont dwell on it. There's plenty of other single guys out there.

Secondly, I would say that time goes forward. Just seems obvious. If time-travel were to become possible, then time would go froward and backwards, but i think we can all agree thats not very feasible, so...forwards.

Lastly, interesting question! Dust is made up mostly of skin cells, however, there are also atmospheric changes that can cause dust, or even cause dust from outside to float in to an uninhabited space. An abandoned house is also inhabited by millions and millions of living things. These things just dont happen to be human.

Those are my thoughts anyway...hope it helped! :))
Reply:im sorry but i dont know the second or third awnser but for the first.... let him go with his gf, you ask him to dance when he is open, its nothing personal on his gf, you just want to dance. and if she has a problem with that then shes weird because its not like you guys will be doing anything else.
