Blind pimples on forehead for 2 and half weeks?

I'm in my early 20s and acne has seemed to get worse rather than improve since my teens. In the last 2 and a half weeks, I've had about 4 blind pimples on my forehead -- ya know, the huge bumpy ones without heads that hurt and turn a noticeably red hue. It started out with one, which isn't totally uncommon for me to have once in a while, but as that one was going away, another one sprung up. Then as the second one started fading, I noticed that the first one never actually went away! The first one then proceded to resurrect itself and actually started growing again! And it doesn't end there! This morning, as if I haven't had enough, I noticed the second one is also coming back to life! What the hell is going on? I am absolutely fuming over this. The skin around both of these pimples is red and flaky regardless of the moisturizer I use. I'm starting to think these are going to turn into huge scars! I'd rather commit suicide then have these for the rest of my life. What should I do?

I get those "blind pimples" every so often, and a few have actually never gone away. Like the skin color is normal and there not visible, but there is a lump under the skin still.

I would suggest not touching them, and if the skin gets flaky, pic it off then stop touching it.

You should really look into seeing a dermatologist if it doesnt improve. I have had friends who had great success clearing up acne with the proper medicine and sticking with it. Also, cut out the soda and potato chips!
Reply:i always use thoses oxy clean pads or face wash, i heard if u pick at them alot it leave scars, but use proavitve or sumthing i have sum pimples but they end up goign away
Reply:i feel your pain...i just turned 20 too and acnes been bothering me forever!

Q: Now that it's fall, I am breaking out with pimples but all summer long my face has looked great, what is going on?

A: Sometimes life can be so unfair. All summer long, you looked and felt healthy and great. But now that it's fall, things are starting to go wrong. Your bronze glow is fading fast. And your skin, which was virtually acne-free all summer, has now decided to break out with a vengeance. Why?

Sun, in small doses, can improve acne conditions... temporarily. When exposed to sunlight, skin tends to swell and exfoliate and redness will reduce. In fall, however, acne flares up as the skin begins to shed dry and dead cells caused by this sun exposure. Fall acne flare-ups are also greatly influenced by mood swings, low spirits and stress.

Acne is inherited. If your parents had it or have it now, then chances are high that you are more likely to have acne, too.

Hormones play a key role as far as acne. Hormones cause an increase in oil production - in your hair, skin, just about everywhere. And where does this extra oil settle? In your pores, of course.

Since the pores are clogged with all that oil, bacteria and dead skin cells, they are unable to breathe. And clogged pores can only mean one thing - acne alert. Don't forget that mineral oil can clog the pores as well!

nothing has been a instant success but netrogena products seem to be somewhat working..

whatever you do, dont constantly change products or it will mess your face up lol

also when u sleep, dont sleep face down, change pillow sheets weekly, if your paranoid, daily, so much oil from your hair could be on it.
Reply:I know how you feel. I have the same problem. I've spent a boat load of money on products that hardly work. I would suggest putting a warm compress on the area every chance you get that helps to bring down the swelling and redness, and apply tea tree oil afterwords. I found this has been working for me. Although they aren't completely gone yet, they have gotten a lot better. Its worth a try. You can purchase the tea tree oil at the body shop. Good Luck =)
