Should i use aloe or antibacteria?

i have a pretty deep second degree burn. this is my situation it was 6 days ago i sat on a curling iron. I went to the er they gave me this antibacteria cream to put on it and put a guaze on it. Thats what i've been doing i went to the doctors yesterday and they told me to do the same thing. but its not showing any progress at all. I know its only ben a day but what the doctor told me sounds weird she told me to wash the wound and SCRUB OFF ALL THE SKIN THAT GROWING ONTO OF THE PINK AREA. i fee like thats not allowing it to heal. its pink because theres still flesh there I dont feel like scrubing off the skin growing ontop is a good idea. But i want to put aloe on it but im scared of and infection what should i do?

Should i use aloe or antibacteria?
you do need to get rid of the old damaged tissue to help promote healthy growth. maybe soak in a warm bath and lightly rub the tissue afterwards, that will help w/ the discomfort. keep using the cream, if it gets infected it will be worse than it is now.
Reply:Aloe is really good for skin healing..i use it alot... but if ur doctor told u to put on antibacteria then u should...they know better. Why dont u try calling ur regular doctor and explain ur situation!!! :)
Reply:you have to do what the doc saya...u will never get better if u don't follow the rules...DON'T PUT ANYTHING ON IT!!!.....except the stuff the doc gave you..in no time it will be better

hope this helps
Reply:Use the antibacterial cream the doctor gave you. Dehydration and infections are the two major concerns with burns. If your wound gets infected, it could be very serious. This is not something minor that you're dealing with, so don't play around. Do everything that you were told to do by your doctor and don't do anything that you were told not to do. If you weren't specifically told about something, call your doctor and ask. Aloe is used EXTERNALLY for minor burns, like sunburn.
Reply:go go go for JILLI_ BEAN shes righto exacto
