I have a second problem my balls are very itchy at times. How do i prevent my balls from itching

How do i prevent my penis from itching?
You need to be tested for STD's
Reply:wash and dry the area very well, EVERY day.
Reply:If I was you I would be skipping yahoo answers and running to the Emergency Room like my hair was on fire. I would get some medical advice about it at a health center or your regular physician.

I guess if you wanted to forget about the itchy balls you could rub in some flex-all 454 or icy-hot, I guarantee that will relieve the itching but I don't recommend that. I would go for the first option and seek medical attention ASAP.

Inducing labor...?

Hi, I'm 34 weeks pregnant with my second and i don't know how much more i can take, I'm tired all the time, my skin is itchy, my back hurts and i can't sleep. I wanted to know what are the best ways to self induce labor? Don't worry i don't intend to do it till I'm at least 37 weeks.

Thanks in advance.

Inducing labor...?
The last few weeks are when moms become very anxious for their pregnancies to be over. As a mother of 5, I know the feeling well!

Take a look at this page on my website: http://www.birthbbabyandmom.com/start-la...

That page discusses natural ways to jumpstart labor, if your body is ready, and it just needs a little extra kick to get things going.

I also have information on the site about things you can do now to help the birth be faster and easier, and a page on how to tell if you're in labor. I've written about each of my 5 labors and how they started.

All the best for a fast, easy delivery and a healthy baby!

Reply:i know sex helps a lot.

i know how you feel...i feel the same....good luck!
Reply:I know you are getting restless but just stick in there and know it'll be all worth it once you see your baby for the first time. Once you are far enough along, start going on daily strolls and have sex- that can help induce/speed up the labor- other than that, there isn't much you can do. The baby will come when it's time.

Good luck!
Reply:there are none that are safe except the ones the doctor can use to induce your labor
Reply:my friend got out and mowed the lanw she was out there 15 min and her water broke hope this helps good luck
Reply:I have heard that you can massage a pressure point four inches above you ankle, you will know it's the spot because it will kinda be sore when you press down. I hear is you massage both legs that will induce labor. Sex is also good and lots of walking. As for you not being able to sleep try some Tylenol PM that works great for me. Take some warm baths for your muscles. Good luck only 3 more weeks till your full term!
Reply:Speak with your OB. Tell him/her your concerns and your discomfort.

Generally induction is started with prostyglanon, a gel the OB applies to your cervix. If necessary IV drugs can be administered as well. I have 5 children, two labors were induced.
Reply:Are you planning on having it at home or going to the hospital? The hospital will induce you a week early I believe if the baby seems ready enough with pitocin IV drip. If you have it at home liquid blue cohosh which is an herb is the same kind of thing as pitocin only in natural form and is better for you. Castor oil will bring labor on within 12 hrs too.
Reply:My ob suggested that I go for a walk two to three times a day. Don't do anything crazy. The baby will come when he or she is ready...if he/she doesn't, your doctor will make arrangements.
Reply:I think I was about 36? weeks pregnant and my midwife had me take evening primrose oil (it softens the cervix). Also walking, hot showers (they do this at the hospital when your in labor for a while, get the hot water on your back, it loosen your muscles), and sex is a big help ;)
Reply:i would recommend that you stay away from any at home inducing tricks you might have heard about. instead, ask your OB about having your membranes stripped (at around week38) i had it done on wednesday and had my baby later that night. it works for most women and it is your safested bet imo.

good luck (might seem to be taking forever but you are almost there)
Reply:Here are two techniques that have worked for people I know. The first, is a technique used by a woman my husband works with. She's had 3 children and when she wanted to deliver, she would go to a pool and do somersaults under the water. She said for her it worked every time, because the next day she'd go into labor. The second method is to take cod liver oil, you could probably do a search to find out how much (a few teaspoons I believe).

For myself, during my first pregnancy, ten days before my due date the Olympic Torch Parade was coming to our city. The night we went to see the parade, we had to drive around to find parking and because I didn't want to miss it, we actually jogged to the parade route. A few hours later on the way back home, I noticed my lower back was a little achey, like before your period starts. I thought...well that's funny, I haven't felt that in 9 months. Sure enough, the next morning I went into labor. The bad part though is that - I went through the whole labor and when they broke my water, they determined my son was breech (actually butt first) and that I needed to have a C-Section. While that was easier than giving birth (I know, I've had to 2 other children), what was scarey was that my son was in the birth canal bent in half. He was purple when they pulled him out. Fortunately, there were no complications (he's very bright so he didn't experience any problems). But, there could have been!

So before you decide to try any method, have your O.B. make sure your baby has "dropped" and is that it's head is down and is "engaged" as it's called, in the birth canal. I know it's so uncomfortable at the end, but another few weeks - compared to going into labor before you're supposed to - and having complications to yourself and the baby...well that's just not worth it. So put your feet up, have your husband rent a stack of movies or get a stack of books from the library, and relax...while you can! Good Luck :)
Reply:You would be a fool for doing that, it could risk the baby's life! You wanted to be pregnant, NOW DEAL WITH IT!

I'm really really sad! I dont know what 2 do.?

i don't know y am so sad. I was sad in math class i just wanted to burst in tears and I wanted to go in the bathroom and cut my skin up really bad. feel like cutting now. I'm trying to stop. Y am I sad one second and happy another.

I'm really really sad! I dont know what 2 do.?
you have depression, plain and simple. you're also having some pretty intense mood swings, which also goes with depression, not bipolar. Bipolar is when you have a long phase of deep deep depression, followed by a long period of time of elation and bliss.

Since you're having urges to hurt yourself, please go to the Emergency room at your hospital. It's nothing to be scared of...they just need to watch you to make sure you don't and get you on some medication and started on therapy so you can start feeling better.

I went through a same kind of thing, and I went to the hospital for a day or two, and now I'm getting help and I feel SOOO much better.

You're so sad because you have had or are having bad things happening/happened to you, and you need to learn to see what they are and deal with them.

if you're not comfortable going to the ER, go talk to a counselor right away!
Reply:I don't know why you're sad, but I do know what you can do about it.

you can go get counsling. It doesn't mean you're crazy, I think everyone needs a little councling.
Reply:Try and find some positive. Call friends, talk to people about it and maybe get some help. I know it sounds corny, but watch some Joel Olsteen on tv, he preaches positivity and that always helps me. Lastly, have faith in God, pray and ask for help. He will guide you.
Reply:really im sad all the time my life is pretty sucky so if you are trying to stop cutting try calling some one or talking to a friend instead
Reply:dont do anything

call 911 or your parents the police someone.dont do anything to your self.

talk to a doctor right away and he or she can prb help you .

Im going to pray and ask God to cheer you up.Please go to church and ask your preacher to help you and he will also help you find Jesus.Once you find Jesus you will prb be happy most of the time.

God Bless you
Reply:Please get some professional help before you hurt yourself!

find a counselor immediately, your school probably has one. There's absolutely nothing wrong with getting help for depression, let's just say that I know from experience with depression.
Reply:You need a doctor ASAP! if you are cutting yourself. You need to tell you parnets now do not wait. You are not crazy you just need medical help and soon. Depression comes and goes and you can also be bipolar. Please get help soon. I know how i felt when my dad died and i am sure your parnets will get you help if you tell them and if something bad happened to you your parnets will blame them selfs
Reply:You don't say how old you are, but I'm going to guess that a lot of what you're feeling right now is good old hormones. Growing up is not easy on anyone (no matter how it looks from the outside) and it may help to know that EVERYONE -- boys, girls, popular kids, rock stars -- goes through this.

Try to remember that some days, you wake up in a great mood and don't know why, but you let yourself enjoy it and move on without wondering why. So if you find yourself sad or angry or scared for no reason, do the same thing -- let yourself be sad for a sec, let it pass and move on. You can even let yourself enjoy a good "wallowing in self-pity" mood for a little bit (but no more than an evening, please!) -- give yourself a treat, watch a sappy movie, hide under the covers... then let it go and enjoy the ups that come after the downs! Good luck and remember that you really are normal and it's ok to feel this way.

** If this happens often, you should find a trusted grownup or friend to talk to about it. Talking about it really does help!

Feel better and take care of yourself!
Reply:Sounds like bi-polar condition. You need to tell an adult or a counselor about your feelings ASAP. There are very effective methods of dealing with your situation such that you don't have "emotion" swings and thoughts of self harm. That's not okay.

Please promise to be open to therapeutic solutions and work with the program that the social worker/counselor recommends. If you do so, you will probably be surprised how good it feels to get back to your old (cheerful) self. Sometimes, these situations (emotion swings) become such a part of us, we forget how peaceful our minds can be.

Do take care and talk today to someone you trust and tell them how you are feeling.
Reply:This is because you have a problem, and sadly, there is nothing you can do to help the problem. In all honesty, you should end your life, so that you can live in eternal bliss, and do not cause harm for others.
Reply:your sad because your ugly your ugly because your fat your fat because you eat too much you eat too much because your sad

Mederma questions?

first, does it stain skin? the area around my scars is pink, will that go away when i stop using it?

and second, when should i stop using it? i know it says 3-6 months, but if i use it long will it help more?

Mederma questions?
1) Mederma is a clear gel %26amp; cannot stain your skin. It may help w/ the pink color around your scars.

2) Using it longer will not help. You get the most benefit w/in 3-6 months.
Reply:i used merderma and it didnt work for me. u should go to rootsherbal.com and try thier products

Chicken foot recipe that doesn't involve stewing?

I've had chicken feet fixed two different ways. One recipe is generally called "golden phoenix claws" on the net- I don't like this one; the texture is broken down to goo.

I've had them fixed another way from a Chinatown market. It was probably steamed, but had a slight sesame oil flavour to it. The feet were intact, but the skin soft and fully cooked.

I haven't the recipe, but if anyone knows how to fix the second one there, please tell me.

If you don't know, please don't post any stupid answers.

Chicken foot recipe that doesn't involve stewing?
Easy Sweet and Spicy Chicken Feet

2 lbs chicken feet

2 (12 ounce) cans Coke

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons sambal oelek chili-garlic sauce (or more)

Put all ingredients except the feet in a wide bottomed pot. Mix well.

Add the chicken feet.

Cover pot and cook over medium-low fire for 3 hours or so. This will soften the feet real good that you can easily suck the meat off the bones.

Remove the cover of the pot and cook over medium heat until the liquid turns into a sauce.

Delicious Chicken Feet

12 chicken feet, declawed and skinned

3 tablespoons dark soy sauce

2 tablespoons rice wine

3 slices ginger

3 green onions

1 tablespoon barbecue sauce

1 teaspoon sugar

star anise

1 piece orange rind

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 pint water

Combine all ingredients and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
Reply:I boil them (not long, about 2-5 mins.) then coat them in a mixture of melted butter %26amp; chicken bouilon, and coat them VERY lightly with bread crumbs. I usually only put some crumbs on the top leaving the bottom bare because as you know there is not a lot of meat. Sorry I don't know the 2nd receipe you mentioned, it sounds really good!

I have been using Jergen's Natural Glow on my body and face...?

2 Questions here... First, has anyone else used this? Has it given you a nice sun-kissed look? I have only been using it two days so haven't seen any changes... I guess my concern is I should have getten the one for dark skin since I have a slight tan already. I got the medium for both my body and face.

Second question - I put this on in the morning after showering. It is on all day. I do go swimming usually at night (We have a pool - it's nice to take a dip when it is hot out). Should I reapply after swimming?

Thanks a million!

I have been using Jergen's Natural Glow on my body and face...?
Give it a week. The girls at work noticed it on my hands and arms before I did. I would re-apply after you swim. We have a pool too and I'm working 3-10 pm - It's very hot here in Connecticut and I think I'll take a quick dip after work too! Have a great day honey!
Reply:I have light skin and use the lightest ones. It will make a difference, just use it a few more days and then you'll notice it more. It probably would help to reapply after swimming
Reply:ok i used to use that stuff i used about 3 bottles nothing really changed. what you need is the AVON kind. it worked so fast. i used it and in 2 days everyone was noticing asking me if i went and tanned..... it works fast and great! it's not expensive either
Reply:Give it a few more days. One thing that might help is to get the dead skin cells off of you b4 you apply it. It works on me, :)

Scar make up help please!?

well i have 2 scars, the first one bothers me because it is lighter than my skin tone, and it sorta stands out. how do i darken it or tone it? then second one, well thats pretty much the same thing, except its not lighter its well um it is....well it stands out, how do I cover it up? Preferably homemade recipes, or if not, a make-up product.

Scar make up help please!?
You can try Benefit Cosmetics. I forgot the name but there is this one product that can cover blemishes wonderfully. I know that you want to cover your scars but I think that product might work as well. Have you got your eye brows waxed? One day one of my co-workers asked me to go with her to this Benefit Cosmetics counter where they do eye brows waxing. After she was done the skin around my eye brows were bright red, which is common when you get wax. THEN, she put on this thing and she used it like it was a compact powder. The redness disappear! Nobody would have known that I just got my eye brows waxed! Since then I am hooked with their products!

I use make up but can't think of what to call the stuff you want, the stuff I use is concealer . This stuff, concealer, covers dark under eye circles even a red nose that I get most winters. Then I use my dry foundation on this.

Is anyone using the estrogen patch and having trouble keeping it on?

I just started using the Climara patch. The hormone itself is working great, but I can't keep the patch on my skin for a full week. The first one fell off a day early. I moved the second one to a new site like the booklet said and that one's falling off so bad after 3-4 days that I'm literally holding it on with surgical tape.

I'm not using lotion or powder there. I've followed the directions that came with the pack, but it just won't stay on. Any suggestions?

Is anyone using the estrogen patch and having trouble keeping it on?
I think, that you should to go to the doctor or chemist/pharmacy and maybe it is possibility, that your packed is defective... Sometimes we can come up that... :( I had similar experience with a slim plaster and other pack was better than the first ;( and a pharmacist said me, that it could be happen ... ;(

I add, that your reaction for it shouldn't be that...
Reply:Thank you for the distinction :):):) Report It

Reply:The best places I would suggest would be your upper shoulder or below your abdomen.

Who would be ur pick as The most pretty woman tennis player between those 2 ? Ana Ivanovic or Maria Sharapova?

I would definetly go for Ana, in a heart beat %26amp; without a second thought. All my friends agree(male or females). She is drop dead gorgeous with her olive skin color, uncommon beauty %26amp; exotic look.

Sharapova has a common Russian look. If you visit Russia(which i did), 40% of Russian girls look like her. It's a common Russian face, but the media blew it out of proportion.

Who would be ur pick as The most pretty woman tennis player between those 2 ? Ana Ivanovic or Maria Sharapova?
Mirza (joke).

I agree with Mulato in all counts. Sharapova's beauty is

so common in Russia while Ana's beauty is classic.
Reply:I'd tap both..no comparison needed here.
Reply:Sania Mirza(joke) I have to go with Maria though she is phenomenal , besides a beautiful face she has legs you can just get lost in.
Reply:maria
Reply:Of those two, I'd say Ivanovic. Overall, Maria Kirilenko.
Reply:Ana for sure.
Reply:Definatly Ana. Maria is ok, but Ana is a beauty.

I got a tattoo 10 days ago, I think I am having an allergic reaction to some sunscreen I used on it. HELP!?

I got a new tattoo and after 6 days it became so itchy I couldn't even sleep. I kept putting unscented Aveeno on it to keep it moisturized, but it was still unbearable. In desperation I used some prescription itch ointment my daughter had, which didn't seem to do anything. Two days ago, because I was going to be outside, I used some sunscreen over the tattoo and the next morning, there was a perfectly outlined itchy bumpy rash around the tattoo. Two raised bumps that look like blisters also appeared. The itching is driving me crazy and I am worried about this new rash. The same day I used the sunscrren was also the same day I tried the itch prescription and I also got stung by a bee that day on the same foot, (tattoo is on ankle). This is my second tattoo, no problems with the first one 13 years ago. I also don't have sensitive skin and never have problems in the sun. HELP-what can I do? My dr. is out until next week, do I need to go to urgent care? Is there anything I can use to help

I got a tattoo 10 days ago, I think I am having an allergic reaction to some sunscreen I used on it. HELP!?
Please please please go back to your tattoo artist ASAP and let them look at it. It may be a reaction to the ink. People can develope allergies to things later in life, and can develope allergiers to things they have never had a problem with before and have had for years....tattoos for example. A person can have a tattoo and never a have a problem with an ink allergy until years later or until getting other tattoos. Different things trigger different reactions. Additionally your first tattoo may have been done with a different brand of ink from what this last one was done with. Ink is not FDA regulated therefore none are created equally.

So please see your tattoo artist, they will be able to tell you if it is an ink allergy (these are rare, but do happen). If it is, they will probably instruct you to see your Dr.... if it's not an ink allergy, seek medical attention even if it is an urgent care clinic.
Reply:I'd suggest not putting any more chemicals on it...

If your tattoist is any good, they might know if what you've been using will have had an adverse effect on you. Try going to see them and taking the bottle of sunscreen with you (for the ingredient list). They might know nothing but till your doctor gets back it'll be worth a try!

Good luck.
Reply:Could be an infection, you need to watch this carefully, because it can send you into septic shock if left untreated, and you will die. A tattoo does not need any other treatment than a thin layer of A%26amp;D ointment spread over it a few times a day. No lotions, or creams just the ointment.
Reply:I don't know what type of insurance you have but you do need to see a dermatologist, if the itchy is still persisting and is unbearable you may be having an allergic reaction. Try benadryl OTC and then try to see a dermatologist.
Reply:Prob. an allergic reaction to one of those things. Since it will be hard for you to use anything topical. I think you may need to go to the urgent care, they have steriod shots that can help, like solu medrol or something. I had a really bad allergic reaction to mosquito bites and that helped alot. The meds stay in your system for a few days to help clear it. You can also try oral medication.
Reply:I have 8 tattoos and I dated a tattoo artist for many years. You are having a break out due to how much moisturizer you're using. Start using A%26amp;D ointment, baby butt stuff, and use it in a very thin, thin layer, just enough to cover it. If there's too much on it, wipe some off. It is a good idea to let it "breath" sometimes-don't put anything on it for sometime in the morning after your shower before work or after dinner until bed. It gives the tat time to heal. Also, don't itch it w/your fingernails-it'll cause it to scab %26amp; then you'll have pieces of the tattoo actually fall out %26amp; you'll need major touch ups. Pat it w/your hand to help w/the itching. Hope this helps.....
Reply:for the itching.. take something like clarentine (i cant spell)

during the day and phenergan at night..

or any allery medication.. telfast etc.

Try not to put anything too harsh on it..

let it breathe from the creams a little..

street fighting

What does it mean?

What does the song It Happens by Hopesfall mean? Does it have some deep meaning or just basically a random collection of words?

Here are the lyrics:

The bodies collide to the beat

The spilt wine takes us to new heights

She said I was her captain, out of town swinger

For a night we parade the conquest for the careless

I am motionless and coma

Ready for this

Watch the blood she makes it shine

Flows to the head, I remember the first time

A tall tale told heroically

She's got the best of what I'm waiting for

We feel the distance

The sleep await to be the call to action

Or the intervention of something out of this world

We don't live to last forever

We feel no second chance

There's just a primal need to release and never let in anything but the skin

From here to the moon she tries to take me to the starbeams in her eyes

And from here to the moon she tells me I'm good for patient eyes

What does it mean?
The only one one who can really explain the song is the songwriter. It may be based on his feelings, perceptions or some creative idea he came up with. To the listener, it may seem random, but sometimes there's a meaning behind it too.

I think it's about a guy who realizes that he %26amp; this girl should seize the day. Being with the girl wakes him from stupor. He's saying he is ready. For commitment? For whatever? I don't know.

They choose to go all out %26amp; be carefree (or careless? hmmm) because they "don't live to last forever" %26amp; "feel no second chance".
Reply:being in the entertainment industry, I can tell you that many artists are like poets, which is really what they are. The write and you take from it what you take from it. The fact that you are so curious about it just makes them more satisfied with their work.
Reply:I think it's about two people cheating with each other.
Reply:its about an man who is in love with someone. Hes actually describing them making love through metaphors and allusion...typical writing tools for a writer to use. Im a writer so i can easily tell you this about someone in love with someone else.

Cc of airof balloons and such?

given 3 balloons...one is red...the second is blue...the third is white

in each balloon there is 5 cc of air

the skin of each has no bounds as to expansion

each balloon has no limit on expansion per sec

all three balloons are propelled into space toward the sun at a rate of 50 cm

as they head for the sun what will take place ?

Cc of airof balloons and such?
5cc of air at what temp %26amp; press?

50 cm is not a rate of anything.

Whatever happens will happen if they are sent away from the sun or toward it.

Likewise, the colors make no difference.

If there's no limit to the balloon's expansion, the air in each will behave exactly as if the balloon wasn't present at all, and they will all three expand to an infinite volume. That would be a total volume of 3*infinity.........

Good luck

Colored contacts?

I have very dark brown eyes.

First of all, would colored contacts even make a difference, or would they simply blend in?

Second, what color would complement them the best? If it makes any difference, I also have tan skin and sandy blonde hair. Thank you so much!

Colored contacts?
My girlfriend had the same problem, but her coloured contacts made her eyes look brighter! Why not go in for a consultation, and ask to try out some different kinds?
Reply:Maybe like a light blue.. it would stand out though i just think its pretty=]

but personally, i dont really like colored contacts. It just makes you eyes fake.
Reply:I personally have always had trouble with coloured contacts. I have very light green eyes and I tried blue contacts and it blended in, so im not sure how it would work with brown. But I suppose some brands are better than others.

But, I think if you do get colour contacts you should get blue, it would stand out wth your blonde hair and tan.
Reply:i would go with a natural lighter brown, beucase the blues and other colors look so fake, you dont want people to be like omg wow shes fake, some of the honey hazels actually look really good
Reply:Try 1800 color.com they give a free exam with color contacts(at your local wal-mart etc)- but take it from me - I spent 40.00 and have only wore them 1 time! too hurtful on the eye!

World of warcraft skinning?

Is skinning a worthwhile skill to take up as 1 of my professions? whats it best used with as a second proffession?

World of warcraft skinning?
Skinning is pure money. heavy leather is a must to sell in the Auction House. Just look for the current rates for Heavy Leather so you can get the most gold for the stack of Heavy leather.

The second profession should either be: Leather working, if you want to make things with your leather. Or if you want MORE money, then go with Herblism or Mining.

If you go with Leatherworking you can make yourself leather armor, make sure your class supports leather armor of course. If you are a Hunter, Rogue, Druid, or Shamen then you can and should wear leather armor.

If you go with herblism or mining as the second profession, you can't make anything, but you can sell what you gather on the Auction House and make even more money.
Reply:get it if you want leatherworking. and only get leatherworking if you are a rogue, hunter or druid. then for rogues get elemental leatherworking. hunters get dragonscale and druids get tribal.
Reply:Enchanting is the best money making deal. But it's also the hardest to level up. But still, you'll get a lot!

My girlfriend started seeing someone else.........?

Put on some foundation or powder.

And a little bit of blush or bronzer.

Then put some mascara on and some eye liner.

and put a tiny bit of blush...but not too much.

hope i helped %26amp; good luck!
Reply:Put black eyeliner on your top eyelid then a silver/ grey color in the corner of your eyes and below your eyebrow. Then maybe a darker color on the bottom near the eyeliner and then get lighter as you go to the top. Put mascara on and eyeliner on the bottom lipgloss and some foundation and your ready
Reply:hmmm...

go natural, please.

foundation where you need it, if you need it

brown tones on the lid, really define the crease.

dark brown eyeliner, upper lashline from corner to corner completely.

dark brown OR black mascara, top lashes. do the bottom lashes, outer 2/3, if you're certain not to cry.

a little bit of blush on the apples of the cheeks, blend up and out.

powder to finish and set everything.

lips, either a neutral color or a really soft pink. lipstick all over, gloss in the center of the bottom lip.
Reply:You should put a light line of eyeliner, mascara to help largen and widen the lashes, some concealer, and lipgloss. Remember, too much is over doing it.
Reply:ok, well i have the perfect makeup and how i apply it looks rlly pretty, idk if u will think so but here is my advice:

foundation: superstay silky smooth foundation by Maybelline.

all u need is 2 squirts to cover ur entire face. its just enough, not 2 much, not 2 little

eyeliner:perfect point plus by covergirl.

Apply a thin line to the upper lid as well as the bottom

Reply:Sunburn - Home Treatment

Home treatment measures may provide some relief from a mild sunburn.

Use cool cloths on sunburned areas.

Take frequent cool showers or baths.

Apply soothing lotions that contain aloe vera to sunburned areas. Topical steroids (such as 1% hydrocortisone cream) may also help with sunburn pain and swelling. Note: Do not use the cream on children younger than age 2 unless your doctor tells you to. Do not use in the rectal or vaginal area in children younger than age 12 unless your doctor tells you to.

A sunburn can cause a mild fever and a headache. Lie down in a cool, quiet room to relieve the headache. A headache may be caused by dehydration, so drinking fluids may help. For more information, see the topic Dehydration.

There is little you can do to stop skin from peeling after a sunburn-it is part of the healing process. Lotion may help relieve the itching.

Other home treatment measures, such as chamomile, may help relieve your sunburn symptoms.

Medicine you can buy without a prescription Try a nonprescription medicine to help treat your fever or pain:

Acetaminophen, such as Tylenol or Panadol

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs):

Ibuprofen, such as Advil or Motrin

Naproxen, such as Aleve or Naprosyn

Ketoprofen

Aspirin (also a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug), such as Bayer or Bufferin

Safety tips Be sure to follow these safety tips when you use a nonprescription medicine:

Carefully read and follow all directions on the medicine bottle and box.

Do not take more than the recommended dose.

Do not take a medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to it in the past.

If you have been told to avoid a medicine, call your doctor before you take it.

If you are or could be pregnant, do not take any medicine other than acetaminophen unless your doctor has told you to.

Do not give aspirin to anyone younger than age 20 unless your doctor tells you to.

Care of blisters

Home treatment may help decrease pain, prevent infection, and help the skin heal.

Small, unbroken blisters [less than 1 in. across] usually heal on their own.

Do not try to break the blisters. Just leave them alone.

Do not cover the blisters unless something such as clothing is rubbing against them. If you do cover them, apply a loose bandage. Secure the bandage so the tape does not touch the blisters. Do not wrap tape completely around a hand, arm, foot, or leg because it could cut off the blood supply if the limb swells. If the tape is too tight, you may develop symptoms below the level of the tape, such as numbness, tingling, pain, or cool and pale or swollen skin.

Avoid wearing clothes or shoes or doing activities that rub or irritate the blisters until they have healed.

Large or broken blisters usually heal without problems.

Wash your hands with soap and water before touching blisters. Blisters can easily become infected.

If you have a large blister, you may want to drain it.

Clean a needle with rubbing alcohol or soap and water, then use it to gently puncture the edge of the blister.

Press the fluid in the blister toward the hole you made.

Wash the blister after you have drained it, and pat it dry with clean gauze.

Do not remove the flap of skin covering the blister unless it tears or gets dirty or pus forms under it. If the blister has just a small puncture or break, leave the flap of skin on and gently smooth it flat over the tender skin underneath.

Apply an antibiotic ointment, such as polymixin B or bacitracin, if you are not allergic to it. The ointment will prevent the bandage from sticking to the blister and may help prevent infection. Do not use alcohol or iodine on the blister because these may delay healing. Do not use an ointment if you know you are allergic to it.

Loosely apply a bandage or gauze. Secure the bandage so the tape does not touch the blister. Do not wrap tape completely around a hand, arm, foot, or leg because it could cut off the blood supply if the limb swells. If the tape is too tight, you may develop numbness, tingling, pain, or cool and pale or swollen skin below the level of the tape.

If the skin under the bandage begins to itch or develops a rash, stop using the antibiotic ointment.

Change the bandage every day and any time it gets wet or dirty. You can soak the bandage in cool water just before removing it to make it less painful to take off.

Avoid wearing clothes or shoes or doing activities that rub or irritate the blisters until they have healed.

Watch for a skin infection while your blister is healing. Signs of infection include:

Increased pain, swelling, redness, or warmth around the blister.

Red streaks extending away from the blister.

Drainage of pus from the blister.

Swollen lymph nodes in your neck, armpit, or groin.

Fever.

Symptoms to Watch For During Home Treatment

Use the Check Your Symptoms section to evaluate your symptoms if any of the following occur during home treatment.

Vision problems continue after you get out of the sun.

Fever develops.

Nausea or vomiting starts or increases, and you are unable to drink enough to replace lost fluids.

Signs of skin infection in blisters develop.

Signs of an allergic reaction develop.

Symptoms become more severe or more frequent.

Reply:the only thing i can tell you to do is to take tylenol and moisturize alot!! I feel your pain though im very fair skinned and get burnt all the time but i always have after sun things in my house.Like aloe vera and such, love the ocean potion!
Reply:I'm sure they sell aloe lotion somewhere! Florida has pale people too.

Use tylonal, and ice packs (wrapped in a towel or paper towels so you don't get frostbite) to lessen the pain. Some say putting green tea packets or actual tea on the skin helps soothe the pain too.
Reply:Cold wash clothes. .. and keep them cool!
Reply:something cool like a wet cold wash cloth and aloe
Reply:Use some aloe vera, and burn cream with lidocaine.
Reply:cold water is cool for temporary relief
Reply:ive had this on my arms so bad i couldnt even get outta bed or eat!! but ou just need to make sure you dont put anything on it that could pop a blister or you will get an infection. and putting something like aloe vera on it is THE WORST thing you could do...i asked the doctor and she said that what you shoud do is just sit there and try to ignor it... and ABSOLUTLY NO ICE!! its like heat when you have a bad sun burn...it will make it so much worse...you can treally do anything...but if you can put your arms up...put some ice in a bag and a towl and you can then put some ice on it. but if you cant raise your arm very high you cant really do anything and not make it worse... sorry...but you have to hang in there...

If you can stand it. And wait a minute, your friends mom forgot? What about you? Did you not know where you were going? Did you not think? Why blame it on your friends mom? How old are you? Maybe it's time you start learning how to take care of yourself. Quit depending on someone else to take care of you.
Reply:As soon as possible get some PET milk and apply to your sunburn, it will take the burn out instantly. Whatever you do DO NOT use vinegar some people swear by it but dont do it you will burn so bad and take all the oils out of your skin. PET milk works. In the future if you know your going in the sun go to the pharmacy and get some PABA tablets it will stop a sunburn from occuring take a few days prior to your outing.
Reply:Well I don't know what age you are but if your very young then your friends mum is terribly irresponsible to take you out in the sun all day without sunblock. She needs to get you some moisturiser (for after sun) ASAP. And some sunblock! What was she thinking!??

Meanwhile keep right out of the sun. Stay as cool as possible. Use cold water baths, showers only.
Reply:Hey I'm a single parent DAD and my 9yr old boy has very sensitive skin so needless to say I've got the best ans. get any kind of white VINEGAR and just rub it on the burnt areas trust me no sting in just seconds.........Only downfall is it smells bad

Heat in hands due to chemo?

My father-in-law has cancer and has been going thru chemo for about two months now. Yesterday they stopped over and he was freezing but his hands were red and very hot. He sat like this for a couple hours so for fun we had him hold a thermometer in his hands and within a few minutes it was up to 102.3. (My husband then held the thermometer and it only went to 95.4) Once the heat starts to pass in his hands his skin will start to peel. It's almost as if he has gotten a first or second degree burn on them. Anyone know what causes this?

Heat in hands due to chemo?
Yeah, it's from the chemo. Chemo is basically a poisen the kills cells. Not just cancer cells. In short they almost kill you every time they give it to you. The folks that inject it wear specially designed suites so as not to even get it on them, because it does cause burns if it touches the skin. Chemo is terrible to go through, and has a laundry list of side effects which we all know. One of them being Chemical burns from treatment
Reply:First of all, you can find a very specific answer to your question by asking your father-in-law to check with his doctor to find the exact name of his medications. He may already have that written down. Most pharmaceutical companies that make chemotherapy drugs have excellent websites to support their patients. Anyone can call a pharmaceutical company to report side effects and ask very specific technical information. The pharmaceutical companies employ highly educated specialists to provide drug information and address patient concerns.

My personal opinion about the temperature of Dad-in-law's hands is this. One of the types of chemotherapy that is frequently used today involves stimulation of the patient's own immune system. It can be considered over-stimulation due to the adverse effects. Inflammation is a term that you have probably heard many times in your life, usually associated with an infection or injury. Inflammation is an activity of your immune system that is the beginning of the healing process. When we have been injured, we take anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen to reduce that immune response. This is because when you are injured, as long as you care for the injury by applying ice, bandaging if necessary, the inflammatory response only adds to your discomfort. In the case of an infection with a virus, bacteria or fungus; or in the case of your father-in-law - "infection" with a foreign type of cell, the inflammatory response is your body's way of fighting off the "enemy." While inflammation is not always accompanied by fever, often a fever is a sign that inflammation is occurring within the body. When a fever is beginning, your body's thermostat is set to a higher temperature and you will feel very cold until your body gets where it is going. Thus, your father-in-law, while "freezing", was most likely running a fever and had not yet peaked at the temperature of his fever.

Depending upon the location of the cancer cells in his body and the type of chemotherapy he is receiving, it might be possible that the redness and high temperature of his hands is the result of a massive inflammatory response. The mechanism of fever in the body is a complicated process. I just did a Google search on "mechanism of fever in the human body." One of the results was "Lectures on the Study of Fever" by Alfred Hudson. I looked over this quickly and reassured myself in the reading of this old piece of literature that fever is still a quite complicated process in the human body. My best educated guess is that the inflammatory response is occuring in the blood stream, and that when the circulation reaches the small capillaries of the hand, certain complexes of immune system cells that have bonded with foreign cells or chemotherapy are simply too large to move on through the vascular system. These very small particles then, are sitting in his hands in the arterial capillaries and while they do that, they are sending messages to the immune system in the rest of his body. "Come here, fight this off, it won't move." Consequently a war of sorts is being waged in his hands. The fever in his body peaks first in his hands.

This is purely conjecture, but I attended graduate school in the pharmaceutical sciences and opted to take advanced immunology at the time. Thus, while I am not certain of the precise reason for the heat in his hands, this is a plausible explanation.

I suggest that he use cool water packs or short (5 to 10 minutes) periods of time with a bag of frozen peas held in his hands to relieve the discomfort. This won't halt the process that has been deliberately begun by chemotherapy, but would help what is most certainly an unpleasant side effect.

May God bless you and your family and lead you to all the answers that you need to get you through this difficult time.

Colored contacts?

I have very dark brown eyes.

First of all, would colored contacts even make a difference, or would they simply blend in?

Second, what color would complement them the best? If it makes any difference, I also have tan skin and sandy blonde hair.

Also, I already wear contacts for vision purposes, so it's nothing new.

Thank you so much!

Colored contacts?
Depends how dark u're eyes are. I've got pretty dark brown and i found that a 'solid' colour doesn't work very well. However, you can get a two-tone which kind of does the job. Coloured contacts for the most part do look fake over dark eyes though and in a dark club u get an aura of (in my case blue) around u're field of vision
Reply:yhh...

i got brown eyes an i allways go for bluey greeny contacts which make my eyes stand out whilst looking natural...i think ou should go for that to compliment ur hair

try freshlook contacts there about 10 pounds..

good luck bbe

Reply:yeah they would. i use to wear them in high school. They will totally change your eye color.
Reply:My friend has dark brown eyes and blonde hair too and she uses light blue contacts. Since they're light blue they don't stand out. I think that would work for you too. =)

Hope I helped

Has anyone experienced sore and swollen breasts while 12 weeks pregnant?

Hi, I am 12 weeks pregnant with my second and my left breast aches and has gone bigger i can see the veins through the skin ,my nipple feels so tender and sore ,my right breast is fine though, should i be worried? has anyone else experienced this ,any help would be much appreciated, Thanks ,Lornax

Has anyone experienced sore and swollen breasts while 12 weeks pregnant?
i am 11 weeks and 5 days pregnant the reason our breast get soo swollen and sore is because they are growing and starting to produce milk i have the same problem !!!

I asked my doctor :)
Reply:I know I am not a female but I have 7 children and what your are experiencing seems about par for the course, (No problems)

If in doubt ask at the pre-natal clinic or consult your doctor
Reply:Yes, your breasts do swell and get bigger during pregnancy, but this is your second child, and you should know about that. Did you breastfeed your first child? Did you recently wean? It is possible that you have (or are getting) a breast infection. Watch for a red streak on your breast. You may want to go ahead and contact your doctor anyway. Breast infections often cause fevers, and fevers are bad during pregnancy. When you talk to your doctor, be sure to explain the pain, and tell him if you have a red streak. Some people are much more susceptible to breast infections than others.
Reply:i was baout 6 weeks pregnant when i found i was pregnant with my daughter and i went to the hospital because by breasts were really sore and i was having a sharp pain in my side about 5 times a day.
Reply:well im 18 weeks preg and when i have been with a bra all day and i take it off they hurt alot . remember they are in one position and since they are bigger due to the preg when they fall in to place again they weight will make you hurt. i put warm towels on mine when they hurt at it works for me . try it yourself and let me know if it gets better.

good luck and congrats

A question about elephantiasis?

First....can elephantiasis be a birth defect and be present at birth? or is it just caused by a parasite infection only?, second....why was it called elephantiasis? is it because it causes abnormally huge body parts and thick skin similar to that of an elephant? or is it because of joseph merrick (the elephant man) because he had also abnormally huge body parts just like what this disease do?

2 day old newborn has bubble on inside of his lip??

I am exclusively breastfeeding (hes only had 1.5oz of formula total) and he's been doing good on the breast but he's developed a small skin colored bubble on his lower inside of the lip actually there are 2 but the second is smaller.

Is this normal? (We've been discharged from the hospital already).

2 day old newborn has bubble on inside of his lip??
These “sucking blisters” are usual in a baby who’ s breastfeeding well. It won’t hurt him and it won’t hurt you. Congratulations, it means you’re doing things right! It will soon fade as breastfeeding continues.
Reply:Friction bubble - on bottle fed babies you see it mostly on the center of the lower lip but because breastfed babies take the nipple differently it is usually on the inside of the lip. Unless it breaks open, bleeds, becomes infected, gets bigger than about a quarter inch across or starts to interfere with him eating then there's nothing you can do and nothing to worry about. He just has very tender "skin" in that area and until it toughens up may be prone to these small blisters.
Reply:yeah it is normal for breast fed babys to get those blisters. they have to suck alot harder to get the milk from your breast. than if they are sucking from a bottle.
Reply:Does he have a dummy? It's possible its from the bottle, My daughter got that from the bottle, I got advised to put a little bit of vaseline on it. I shouldn't worry it doesn't hurt him. I got discharged the day after I gave birth but they wanted me to go home the day I gave birth but I told them I would rather stay the night. Speak to your midwife about it when she comes just to put your mind at rest

Aspergers syndrome or ADHD?

my 6 year old was diagnosed with ADHD after a long battle with schools, countless trips to counselers and doctors. He was on strattera for 7 months and within the past 3 weeks has started to have tics. The doc is thinking once of strattera they will go away then will start zoloft 25mg. My mother saw a show on discovery health network about aspergers syndrome and said it was like watching my son. Everything he did the kids on the show did also. My son has had many medical problems such as EE bi-lat hernia surgery, multiple allergies and tubes in ears to improve hearing and reduce infections to multiple skin infections. He has fine motor skill problems such as writing and this is his second year in kindergarten. Once he started strattera we and his teachers notices a huge improvement in his behavior and socialization skills and he showed intrest in things other than puzzles and starwars. im not sure what questions to ask doctor about similiar disorders. what should i do?

Aspergers syndrome or ADHD?
Take him back to the doctor and have him tested for aspergers. If you feel you need a second opinion, get one!
Reply:My son is diagnosed with adhd but had gotten worse. he is on straterra and it helped with his attention but his social skills and other stuff got worse. he was admitted into childs psychward for a week. and while in there they said he shows multiple symptoms of aspergers syndrome. Report It

Reply:You should go to a doctor.
Reply:My son has both conditions. Do you have any other children at home? It is harder to diagnose aspergers in a child that is an only child they tend to act out less and they can actually go untill there teen's before they are diagnosed. I was told my son had full blown autism when he was 21/2 but they say now he is just aspegers. If you get them diagnosed early the more chance you have at helping them get all the resource they can get for social behavior and so on. Any questions just email me I will try to help you.
Reply:Aspergers is a form of Autism. You can ask the doctor for information regarding Autism / Aspergers Syndrome. You can also do some research online.

Does your health insurance cover Autism? I noticed a lot of insurances don't. That's the tough part.

Your son may need to see a behavioral health specialist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, etc.

Questions to ask your doctor are about your son getting a psychological/neuropsychological examination; (if he hasn't already).

Find out if there are any specific providers in your area that specialize in Autism or even facilities. Here in the state of WA, we have only a select listing of individual doctors and facilities that specialize in Autism.

I am in the Health Insurance Industry, and in the state of WA alone there are many cases of Autism and/or Asperger's Syndrome. Contact your insurance company for resources and maybe have a case manager assigned to your son, so they can help you find resources or information.

A great source is : http://www.autismdigest.com/

Good luck to you and your family. God bless.

i am a firm believer in adhd is a symptom to an actual disorder...

two diseases that will have adhd as a symptom are:

IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) happens due to a lack of an enzyme in the intestine that regulates the serretonin in the brain (and bowel movements). I would assume going by what you have said, ie, allergies ect, that he would be indicative of constipation type IBS. (when toxins build up in the system many things like rashes and allergies are noticed). Medications such as zoloft would help or should help regulate the serretonin, however, many kids who have tried this approach actually made symptoms worse.

As far as aspergers syndrome, it's likely, but, if strettera has been added along with the zoloft, chances are it is IBS if the medications are working.

It still would not hurt to have him tested for both. You can start by asking your son not to flush the toilet when he has a bowel movement.

You will need to look at several things:

Bowel movement: soft, hard, loose, and size or amount (guestimate)

How many days does he go without a bm (if at all).

Keep a diary of this and if you notice anything abnormal figure out what it is he ate the previous 48 hours. If its IBS you will know just by his bowel movements and you can correlate the effects to certain foods (allergic to certain foods might play a role, not just in IBS, but other allergies as well)

The doctor can also run a blood lab, but the true outcome will be effected because he is already on medications that help the serretonin.

Furthermore, ask the school if they have a social developement class...the sooner you get him interacting the appropiate way the better.
Reply:Hi,

I'm a 21 year old person suffering from Asperger's Syndrome. Many patients who suffer from this are diagnosed lately in their life. Recognizing characteristics in a younger child is more difficult due to confusion with ADD and ADHD. (see further how to diagnose)

CURE?

Recently I made an astonishing discovery. Some Asperger's Syndrome sufferers, mainly children, would have been healed almost fully by the intake of Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's). EFA's might also aid in overcoming ADD and ADHD.

Even though some children showed remarkable progress witin 3-4 weeks, others may not. It is definitely worth the try. EFA's are fully natural and consist of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. There are no side effects. Speak about it with your doctor. This is very important!

The story of an autistic child that was "cured" by EFA's:

EFA's:

DIAGNOSIS FOR ASPERGER'S SYNDROME

A. Qualitative impairment in social interaction, as manifested by at least two of the following:

- Marked impairment in the use of multiple nonverbal behaviors such as eye-to-eye gaze, facial expression, body postures, and gestures to regulate social interaction

- Failure to develop peer relationships appropriate to developmental level

- A lack of spontaneous seeking to share enjoyment, interests, or achievements with other people

- Lack of social or emotional reciprocity

B. Restricted repetitive and stereotyped patterns of behavior, interests, and activities, as manifested by at least one of the following:

- Encompassing preoccupation with one or more stereotyped and restricted patterns of interest that is abnormal either in intensity or focus

- Apparently inflexible adherence to specific, nonfunctional routines or rituals

- Stereotyped and repetitive motor mannerisms

- Persistent preoccupation with parts of objects

C. The disturbance causes clinically significant impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning

D. There is no clinically significant general delay in language (e.g., single words used by age 2 years, communicative phrases used by age 3 years)

E. There is no clinically significant delay in cognitive development or in the development of age-appropriate self-help skills, adaptive behavior (other than in social interaction), and curiosity about the environment in childhood

F. Criteria are not met for another specific Pervasive Developmental Disorder or Schizophrenia.

(There are more diagnosisses that can be found on the web)

MY EXPERIENCE

I, as a child, experienced language retardation. I was immediately placed in therapy for logopedia. Later, at the age of 6-8, I became obsessed by dinosaurs. I could nearly name every dinosaur. I was also very frustrated. Everytime I came from school, I threw myself on the ground and cried for hours.

Later, in my teenage years, I became very shy and had a severe lack of social contact (even up to today). I acted very clumsy and confused in situations where I was nervous. I avoided any contact, if possible. I had trouble holding eye contact and spoke in the same, low pitch. I also had troubles understanding jokes, body language and symbolic means. Later, I overcame this, but not my lack of social contact.

Even, later, my obsessions became more severe. I started listening to the same song more than 1000 times, I seeked patterns in the stones on the floor, I have reoccuring phantasies and I am obsessed by changing myself. Everytime I would seek a new subject to fulfill my obsession. I would use the internet to look up tons of information on the internet. My obsession also utters itself in washing my hands frequently and doing things in the same order and way repeatedly.

CONCLUSION

Hopefully this gives you an idea of what Asperger's Syndrome's symptoms are. If your child has Asperger's Syndrome, you must first get a diagnosis. Talk to your doctor about EFA's and about the dose. There are certainly no disadvantages in taking them.

Body Perfect?

After i had my first child i worked to get my body back in shape, and felt i looked even betterthan i did before i got pregnant, all my curves are in the right place and everything is tight, my skin is glowing, i'll be going through the same routine after i have the second one.... but the real question here is are women put under immense pressure to look the best they can and bombarded with the beauty myth in magazines, which makes them evaluate themselves in terms of their physical attractiveness to men, and does this preoccupation with appearence have any damaging effect?.... i'm just brain storming let me know your views on this...knock yourself out.

It is only a problem if you see it as a problem, you solely have the chose to choose what is important to you, Why should it matter what others think or say, You are not here to satisfy the masses, It would be impossible, You would be setting yourself up for failure.
Reply:i think women are put under pressure, but i think alot of it is in their genetic makeup too. good for you in wanting to take care of yourself!
Reply:Yes, women are put under immense pressure by the media to

look good....And it does indeed cause many women to look better

than they would if simply left to their own devices...

Which is a good thing however it does cause some undue stress

which some women do not handle well...
Reply:I agree w/ you but, if women didn't buy the magazines and products then there would be no issue--and if guys didn't like women to be all dolled up then there wouldn't be an issue--it's a no win situation!!
Reply:You'll never be tall enough or thin enough or crazy enough, if you benchmark the tallest, thinnest, wildest models and actresses. Be happy with yourself and others will love you as well.
Reply:Depends on whether you're doing this for yourself or for others. But women are under so much pressure to look perfect even when they're getting over giving birth it's pretty difficult to separate the two...

*ERGENT -Can i bring Honey to japan?!?

please give me some suggestion !!!!

thank you so much !!!!!!!!!!!

PS%26gt; and should i bring some gift again to their parents again or ?!

*ERGENT -Can i bring Honey to japan?!?
Quarantine-wise, yes you're allowed to bring honey to Japan. It's expected in Japan to give something especially for occassions like the ones you mentioned. Best that you bring one for every relative of your boyfriend, even those you might not be planning to meet. You want to give them the best impression of you. Honey is a good natural product, and older people will definitely like it. Since you're from NZ, I'd recommend you buy Manuka honey since they have various health properties, not very common, and New Zealand's Manuka honey is amongst the best in the world. I hope I don't sound like a commercial :), but you can find them in the health food section of most major supermarkets. If you were from Australia, I'd recommend getting Macadamia honey. The best one I found is from The Honey Farm in Tasmania since the honey is mixed in with finely ground macadamia (not like most honey where they only put flavoring in or at most, put a few whole macadamia nuts in the honey ).

Some of your bf's younger relatives might like coffee, good exotic coffee is the best. I was told that my friend's brother likes coffee, so I bought several boxes of Jarrah of liquor coffee samplers and that was VERY well received. So I say, ask your bf if any of his relatives likes certain things/has certain hobbies. You can never go wrong with chocolates for the young 'uns.
Reply:They like fish and not Honey
Reply:Honey would be fine I guess. Its all personal taste, so asking people on the internet would probably help you a lots less than asking your boyffriend himself if his father's-saide grandparents would like honey. It's readily available here in Japan.

As for his parents- yeah you should probably get them something again. Omiyage is giving every time you come back, not just the first time.
Reply:Yes, you should give more presents to his parents!

You shouldn't have any problems bringing honey into Japan.

Honey is widely available, so if you do bring some as a present make sure it's good honey in a fancy package! And OBVIOUSLY foreign!!

Honey is good because it doesn't matter if they have their own teeth still or not ....

Or you could bring them something that's produced in your home country - you don't say where you're from, but something that's locally made is usually well-received. (EVERYTHING is well-received really, but it has more MEANING if it's got a personal 'history' of some sort!)
Reply:I think you should bring gifts to your boyfriends' parents too.. since you are giving gifts to his grandparents too...

How about some light handmade ornaments which have a taste of ancient?
Reply:I think customs would allow you to bring honey as long as the seal on the jar has not been broken. They do sell honey in Japan. It's touted as health food for elderly people. . . !!

I think the important thing is that you bring a gift from your country and that you give a gift, period. So don't worry. Present it w humility and they will appreciate the thought.

If you want to bring another gift to the parents any kind of food is fine: chocolates, cookies, etc. You don't have to spend a lot of money. It's the thought that counts.

Blistering from extreme cold?

I don't know if anyone has experience with this, but I was over at a friends house, who has this compressed air can. It's supposed to be used to blow air out hard and fast to clean the dust out of keyboards. Exactly like this http://www.cleaner-systems.co.uk/ProdIma... expect a different brand. When you turn them upside down and spray them, they shoot out REALLY cold air. My friend told me to try spraying my arm and I did for about half a second. It covered a spot about 3 inches in diameter and it iced over on my skin and didn't melt for about a minute. It hurt like hell and then about 3 hours later it started blistering and bubbling up. It's not turning any colors so I don't think it's frost bite. But could this still be a problem?

Blistering from extreme cold?
yes it is pls go to a dermatologist immediately, and apply a moisturiser with antiseptic effects on it . it is serious as it may permanently leave you with a scar or bad skin on the affected area

"If English was good enough for Jesus, its good enough for me"?

I read that this phrase appears on car bumper stickers across the US. Jesus was born in the middle east, he was Hebrew, so he was most likely of dark skin and spoke Aramaic, there is no chance he spoke English.

Christians believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, as the Jews believed in the coming of the Messiah, if it's true that Jewish people misread the signs and denied their saviour, can we expect today's Christians will make the same mistake ?

How would Christian members of this community feel if Jesus came back as a middle eastern person again, say Iranian for example, do you think he would be accepted ?

"If English was good enough for Jesus, its good enough for me"?
Whoah, hard hitting question, I like it.

I don't believe that the Christians of western society would accept a second coming of Jesus at all, let alone if from the middle east. But an Iranian Jesus? The poor guy wouldn't stand a chance, people are too prejudice.

Even if he did perform miracles, no one would acknowledge their validity. They would say it is a trick, special effects, hypnosis (like many modern day entertainers we are all so familiar with) or whatever. We live in a very sceptical generation.

More than that, to call yourself the son of God, would outrage many as it would be considered to be blasphemous.
Reply:"let all who have ears hear" he will be understood in all languages and it is not about how he looks, it is about who he is , all will know and accept him for who he is
Reply:I don't know what ignorant idiot would have that bumper sticker, but I have never seen it nor heard of it.

Christians believe that Christ will return in glory, not as a person dwelling among us again. Everyone will see Him, recognize Him, and everyone will fall to their knees and confess that Jesus is Lord.
Reply:Thats just because since english has practikelly become earths most spoken language that they wanna stick it to the others...
Reply:I don't think the apperance will matter much to those that believe. I personally have no preconcieved idea of what he will look like as I know what we see is pictured in this day and age is not correct anyway.
Reply:Micheal M. says it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Reply:YES
Reply:I hate to be pessimistic but with all the ill feeling towards middle eastern countries, as stupid and ignorant as it is, if he came back as a middle eastern person he would probably be arrested and thrown into Guantanamo bay for terrorism. Which is the same as what happened to Jesus, he was not seen as the ideal saviour, started talking out against the big guys and got beaten up and crucified.
Reply:Jesus era hebreo, y segun la biblia, no era muy bonito que digamos, es decir, nada que ver con las pinturas que vemos en las iglesias.

Otra cosa, el ingles no es la unica lengua que existe en este mundo.
Reply:Excellent questions. I'd have to say Yes to the first and No to the second. I expect he'd be charged with black magic or trickery if he tried to perform his miracles, thats if he wasn't hung as a witch already hundreds of years ago.
Reply:When Jesus does return it will be in power and glory...not like before.
Reply:I have never seen a weird sticker like that.
Reply:A) Jesus Himself said that He would return coming down from on high in clouds of glory. This does not even remotely sound like being born in a human body again, growing up again and dying again (for whatever reason).

B) Jesus' body was slain, He died, He rose glorified in His body and ascended into Heaven IN that glorified body. His second coming will be in that glorified body, which is indisputably Semitic since the only genetic heritage it has is Semitic, through His mother, Mary, a direct descendant of the House of David. And more Semitic than that it's kinda hard to get. No Iranian, speaking ethnically, past or present, is of the House of David so He will NOT be an Iranian......or an Iraqi, or an Egyptian, or an Amalekite or a Midianite, or a anything else, but a JEW descended from David through Solomon.

C) As for acceptance by Christians, I'm sure that anyone, regardless of current faith or no faith at all, who witnesses His coming will pretty much have to accept their own eyes, or else consider themselves as having gone off the deep end with startling celerity.
Reply:If you read Revelations in the Bible, you'll notice that Jesus will return and first set foot in Jerusalem again. He was Jewish when He lived on Earth, He was Jewish when He rose from the grave, it stands to reason his "ethnicity hasn't changed over the last 2000 some odd years of His life. My bet is he'll still be a Jewish person in glorified form when He returns. Also, it is clearly stated that when Jesus returns, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. When He comes back, everybody, not just the Christians, but EVERYBODY is going to recognize Him for who He is, even if they've tried to deny it thier whole life. If you haven't accepted who He is before that time, its too late at that point. Its like the old saying, "Too little, too late."
Reply:How could anyone think Jews would not understand their own Bible? That's just nuts. Jews know what the Messiah will do. Jesus didn't do it. That's it.

Depo Shot weight??

I just got my second Depo shot, and I have gain alot of weight and got really bad achne(My skin use to be super clear). I have herd it's almost imposable to lose Depo weight. I will not take the shot again, But what can I do about the weight and the achne in the meen time?????I know diet and Exercise but how offen?? what types. Any Diet pills??? Please help I am Desperate!

Depo Shot weight??
It is a fact that the depot can cause weight gain for women. However, it is possible to lose that weight with regular exercise and a balanced diet. The British Heart Foundation recommends 30 mins of regular sustained exercise every day or 5 days a week. Gradually increase this duration as your stamina increases. The alternative to the depot is the combined pill Yasmin which has been found to reduce the incidence of acne. Diet pills will only be prescribed if your GP considers your body mass index falls in the category of obese. There are 2 safe prescribed diet pills in the U.K but you must attend regular sessions with your practice nurse who will then monitor and support your weight loss. Good luck!
Reply:Please rethink the depo shot.

I was on it for FOUR years and it royally screwed my body up.

After FIVE years you need a bone density check, that's how much depo screws up your system.

Reply:I was on the shot for 10 years and just stopped it because I want to have children. I didn't really gain much weight on it though and if I exercise it is easy to lose it. Once the hormones from the shot are out of your system (maybe 3 months or so) your body should adjust. and marykay makes a really good acne treatment get for the acne.
Reply:I went off depo before I gained a whole lot of weight, and I enjoy swimming so thats what I did to lose the extra lbs. But, as for the acne, it depends on which type you have. For me the depo trigger adult nodular acne, and I have learned how to manage it, but it is nearly imposible to avoid all break outs. Email me if you want. I am an acne guru.

Any good self tanners or bronzers ?

Does anyone know of a good self tanner or bronzer?

I used to go to the tanning bed all the time, and loved the dark tan look. But, after suffering second degree burns from a trip to the tanning bed, I have decided to save my skin and look for a good self tanner.

I'm really looking for something that gives you a deep natural tan look. I want to look dark and bronzed, not streaky and orange.

I've tried Jergens Natural Glow, and it does not seem to give much tint.

Any suggestions on what to use or what to stay away from?

Thanks!

Any good self tanners or bronzers ?
I've tried jergens too and you're right, it doesn't seem to work all that great, Dove is okay. I have tried a lot and the best lotion one i've used is Skin So Soft " Satin Glow Daily moisturizer" from avon. [www.avon.com] It not only gives you a nice tan but your skin is extremely soft too!

Or you can try those spray on or the foam one from neutrogena. [ I recommend you don't try these if you are not white because it'll basically turn you orange, but if you are than it'll work just fine]
Reply:Go to Victoria's Secret and ask one of the ladie's about their products for this topic. They really have a wide selection and can help you decide what is best for you. I have one that's in a pink bottle with gold writing, I forget what it's called but it works great! Good luck and it's good that you decided to stop going to the tanning beds. That is a very mature and healthy decision.
Reply:I really liked the Dove energy glow. It's also a daily moisturizer, with subtle self tanners.
Reply:Try L'Bri Pure n' Natural's sunless tanner. It's way different than all the other sunless tanners out there, as it's white lotion that uses the natural enzymes and amino acids in your body to turn your skin the same color you would get from the sun. So you won't turn orange and it won't streak. Aloe is the first ingredient in the sunless tanner, so it's very healing to the skin. Give it a try, it's great stuff, pretty reasonable ($15) and there's a 100% satisfaction guarantee, you can't go wrong. Check it out at suenelson.lbri.com.
Reply:I agree with her.. Victoria Secret is a GREAT place to get make up (and bras! lol!). Also try natural places like Lush. Or places with heavy makeups, like MAC. If you want to prevent acne and have a natural looking face, never go with department store makeup. It can damage your face, and you would not want that to happen. =)

More jokes coming towards you, feel free to comment =)?

There were these 3 criminals who had just robbed a bank in Egypt. They were caught, convicted, and sentenced to exile in the Sahara Desert and they could each take only one thing. When they met in the desert they each were telling what they had brought.

"I brought a loaf of bread, so when I get hungry, I'll have something to eat," said the first criminal.

"I brought a water skin, so that when I get thirsty, I'll have something to drink," said the second.

"I brought a car door, so that when it gets hot I can roll down the window."

More jokes coming towards you, feel free to comment =)?
Hilarious!
Reply:uhm, OK! Was he a blonde?
Reply:It's okay. He must of been blond. I liked the other one better. Keep e'm coming. You are making my day.

If Obama or Hiliary become president....?

If it is Obama, would African Americans feel a sense of relief. The line is no longer visible between race. Would you believe there is no more distinction between Caucasians and African Americans, besides color? Would the equal opportunity be dropped and every man will be chosen simply by the best candidate, not because the color of skin. Same goes for the women. If it is Hiliary. Will woman no longer feel second to men. Will there be no difference between men and woman besides sex. What do you think? How will it change the country. Looking for honest answers.

If Obama or Hiliary become president....?
Either one will break a very important barrier in American politics. The fabric of our society will change in very subtle ways that will have long ranging not so subtle effects.

If it's Obama, people above the age of 20 or so will continue to make distinctions between race, we don't change that quickly or easily. But it will promote the blurring of the lines for the very young and future generations.

I'm not trying to be a wise *** but I don't really know that many women who feel secondary to men. They know that society holds them secondary, but most know society in general is wrong about that. I do think they will feel more empowered in general if Hillary is elected. That's one hell of a glass ceiling to break! I know as a child/teenager, a woman President would have seemed strange to me - of course I am 50. But if she becomes President, little girls wouldn't have that vacuum inside of them that never would conceive of such an idea. Anything will naturally seem possible to them and though I don't agree with voting for Hillary just because she is a woman, it would have long range effects for every little girl's attitude about herself and her role in life - in a good way of course.
Reply:I'm voting for change as well. Thank you. Report It

Reply:If either is elected, those of like attributes who are already suffering from the entitlement mentality will only redouble their efforts. Sadly, this is the way it works.
Reply:never happen
Reply:something I recently thought of is this...

If we criticize Obama as president are we going to have to listen to A. Sharpton complain about racism??

I personally like Obama the best so far. But I recently had this thought. What if hes as bad as Bush?
Reply:As long as I never hear one damn note of rap, I'd almost tolerate Obama even though with his lack of experience he would be toast in the job. It would be worse that carter. Hillary will shut the country down. What bill went though will seem like a cake walk. People HATE her, they don't just not like her.
Reply:I think they would be a great running team. Obama for President and Hillary for VP. Then the white males in the country can tak four years off and rest.
Reply:i'm moving to Mexico
Reply:1) THIS woman has never felt "second to men".

2) I have heard that many African Americans do not feel a "connection" to Obama for whatever reason.

Honestly...what planet are you on?

And my HONEST reaction to either Hilary or Barak being elected? AARRRGGWWWHHHH!!!!
Reply:i dont know about the race issue, but as far as having a female president goes, no. i dont feel that would erase any barriers. i think it would be business as usual here outside the white house
Reply:Black or White

We are all being side tracked, To fight for Oil and So far the only one that wants to save lives and bring our troops home is Paul, Not Obamma meanwhile China is taking over!

And bush wants to sell china our cutting edge nuke technology he says it will bring America jobs when the us wakes up we will be under the power of soviet and china powers.

What do you think China Will do to blacks if they take power?
Reply:The first black president shouldn't get elected president just because he's black. Obama has no practical governing experience, no military experience, is too far left and has an obnoxious wife. Do we really want her in the White House?

The first woman president shouldn't get elected president just because she's a woman. Hillary Clinton would be four more years of liberalism in the White House. Do we really want her in the White House?

Fortunately, Fred Thompson and Mike Huckabee will be the next President and Vice President of our great nation.
Reply:I think the country is ready for a black or female president.

Whether or not Hillary or Obama are the proper choices for the above is the real question.
Reply:I just read the scariest chapter in a book about the Clintons. To list the number of their associates who have died suspiciously or violently while working with or for the Clintons took several pages. There was a short paragraph for each person.

I have no problem with a woman president. I have a huge problem with Hilary back in the White House. She thought she was the best one for the job THEN!

Obama has never governed anything. And to expect him to govern the most powerful nation on earth just to make a group of people feel included is foolhardy, at best. There are millions of people around the world who are affected by American decisions. Preparation for this huge position requires more than winning one term in the Senate.
Reply:Sorry. I cannot reply to your question because neither of them will make it to the White House. Obama is too young and inexperienced and would be a disaster as a president. Hillary is smart politically (she is obviously being coached by Bill and his cronies) but she is too robotic to be president of the USA. She isn't as smart as many Democrats want you to believe.
Reply:Good question: I starred it!

I think that having a black man, or a woman will better our international view. No longer will other countries view us as being led by just the white man. Maybe that might convince other countries to open up to us. If that did happen, I think that the African American community would open up, and no one would be able to claim racism. Think about it, the president is the highest position in the America, and even in the world! If the black man could win that, I think that Al Sharpton would have to hang up his coat and go home. The race card will be null and void.

If he does a good job, it would be beneficial to everyone. If he f***s up, then we are in deep s***.

If Hilary does a good job, then it would be beneficial to the women of our country.
