I have a few questions?

My first question is about the color of my armpits...they are a darker color than the rest of my skin(i'm pretty pale. Is there some reason why they are a darker color and is there anything I can do about it?





My second question is about the bumps I get in my armpits. Sometimes they are pus filled but sometimes they aren't...I know that some of them are ingrown hairs but usually they aren't. Does anyone know what they are and what I can do about them?





And my final question is about a bump that is on my butt cheek. It has been there for a few years. It is dark red/purplish and more firm than the rest of the skin on my butt. It doesn't bother me, but the fact that it's been there for so long worries me. What do you think?

Reply:I have seen the discolouration in a lot of people's armpits. Not anything to worry about, just a discolouration of the skin, so long as it isn't itchy etc.


Sounds like the pus filled bumps are bacteria getting into the pores. I would try using an anti-bacterial wash and use exfoliating gloves to see if that helps.


Bump on butt could be a mole. Not sure, maybe get it checked out next time you're at Doctor just to be sure. Good luck.
