I am so insecure right now help?

I'm a freshman in high school, I have a huge insecuirity with how my body looks. I am not fat at least i don't think I am. I am about 5'7 or 5'8 and I weigh 140 pounds or so. I used to weigh much more. I have adapted a slimmer figure but I still have some fat or skin or flab or whatever in my stomach area and I have small love handles or whatever and around my chest I have just a little bit of fat or skin. I feel really fat. I feel obese most of my friends are nice thin and slim. I just want to be like that I am I size 29 or 30 in boys jeans or a 5 in girls jeans. TIght pants look good on me. But I can't stop worrying about how I look every single second of the day. I hate knowing that i'm fat or something and everyone else is thin and they are living great lives and thats all. What should I do

Weight aside (and it sounds like yours is fine!) body size and great your life is aren't related. Your BMI is 21.9 (which means your not overweight) and remember that is for an adult...you still may have some growing to do and boys tend have a growth spurt later in high school.





While you in high school it may seem as if they are but having the perfect body wont make your life perfect. If your thin and a complete looser other people are going to work it out eventually. Have some faith in yourself as a person. Your friends should like you for who you are not what size jeans you fit into...and you need to have the same attitude towards yourself. Just because what you can see of the lives of others seems perfect doesn't mean it is. Have confidence in yourself.
Reply:dont concentrate on your fat only switch it to you health like exercise and healthy diet.





you are not fat your body needs some tonning. so workout is best answer .

Reply:You are not fat. Your weight is fine. Insecurity is tough...I've dealt with it myself in hs as well. You can get a more toned figure by doing cardiovascular exercise and using light weights for toning. Try that. If tight pants look good on you..I am sure you are fine. Try not to compare to your friends...everyone has a different body type and a different base weight that is good for "them".

Reply:Get yourself a plan to exercise and stay healthy, then try to be happy with your looks. Its not helpful to think negatively about yourself. Think positively about your body; eg- I've got flab, but its cool cos i've got friends and i'm starting to eat healthy and exercise and thats a good solution!
Reply:your a great size. Your not fat at all. What you should do is find a way to feel comfortable in your body. You may not like that extra skin you have from losing weight but think of it this way, you have that because you lost weight and got to a healthy size. Thats an accomplishment. You should feel good.
Reply:If you have man boobs is the worst, I used to have them, how did I get rid of them? BENCH PRESS.
