Tanning questioin?

i have fair skin and i went into the tanning bed two days in a row and only burned on the second day how long will it take me to get rid of the sunburn?

Tanning questioin?
you shouldnt go tanning....esp tanning beds..they say there the worst for you.... cause it can cause skin cancer. I know..I have it myself.
Reply:It varies, but I would not go back until the burn is completely gone, maybe three days. A tan looks best when you get it slowly. I tan easily, but I do not go everyday to a tanning bed---it's so hard on the skin and it makes the skin look dry and harsh. If you will pay attention, your skin will glow a few days after a visit.

To answer your question: again, give it at least two days, but three would be better.
Reply:Usually for me, it takes 1-2 days.

If you have fair skin, it will probably take 2-3 days, depending on how bad you got burnt.

I'd say wait at least 3 days before you go to tanning again too, because you don't want to make it worse.

Also, If you just started tanning I wouldn't go 2 days in a row at first.

Try going every other day.

Eventually you can go everyday and you'll be obtaining a tan without having to go through the sunburn to get it! :]
Reply:*I think that all just depends on your body, because it may take a week (or less) for that sunburn to fade. While on the other hand it might take someone else...like 1-2 days for it to go away.

.Anyways I think your best bet would be to just wait until it fades away and use lots of Aloe Vera so it heals properly etc.

.THEN you can begin tanning again....because you don't want to have your body go on an overload of those UV rays ya know?.

.So just use the Aloe Vera and wait it off, then you can start it up again. In fact consult someone at your tanning salon, they're usually supposed to be educated about tanning and it's effects and all that other stuff :):)

....well I hope your burn goes away quickly!!
Reply:I think that you have learned your lesson and won't go tanning in one of those beds again... horrible for anyone (especially fair skinned). The fastest you will be able to get rid of the sunburn is 3-5 days. Make sure to drink tons of water and moisturize it. Stay covered for a few days and out of the sun.
