Two questions here :] Please answer!?

okay the first one is: does the neutrogena acne sport 8 hour eliminating gel stuff work?

and the second is: i have school pictures tomorrow, what kind of a face mask should i use to make my skin GLOW! (:

thanks!

Two questions here :] Please answer!?
This is a simple recipe that I use when I need to go out at short notice as it instantly brightens dull skin. Also adds a nice glow to it. One medium size potato, Grater/food processor to grate Peel a small potato and grate it. Strain out the juice and apply Cleanse your face and then apply the juice from the grated potato. Leave for about 10-15 minutes and then rinse. Follow with your usual skin care routine.

If my skin feels dull, this instantly brightens up the skin as well as adds a nice glow.

=)
Reply:Really too much of any stuff stops working on pimples. If pics are tomorrow try regular toothpast tonight to get rid of each zit. Let dry before you go to bed. For a glow you'll want a light weight "glow" foundation. Light weight because you'll really have a zit problem if it's the thick kinds. Get some Visine too. If any zit is red in the morning it will take the redness away for your pics. Just have the Visine and face lotion in hand while you are in line for the pics so you can prep right before.
Reply:Well I cannot help you for tomorrow, but I can tell you how to look and feel younger and more beautiful until you are well past middle age. It all starts now, by changing your diet to stop eating as much red meats and pork as possible. Stop eating junk foods. Stuff that has extra salts clog up arteries and veins and retain water and oils. Stuff that contains extra sugars break down the cell walls in your liver which causes that organ to not function the way it was designed to function. STOP. STOP. Stop drinking sodas. Regular contains twelve teaspoons of sugar and diet contains no sugar, just chemicals that ruin all of your internal organs. Soda has been proven to be the number one cause of osteoporosis in women and men and can affect women as early a 17 years old. Start eating more fresh vegetables either raw in salads, stir-fried with tofu in extra virgin olive oil or steamed to bring out their natural flavors. Start eating fruits for snacks and deserts and drink organic fruit juices for energy, drink 6 to 8 bottles of pure water every day and walk. Walk at least two miles every day to begin with and get it up to five miles. Do this forever. When you are well past middle age all of your friends will be begging you to tell them what anti-aging ingredients you are using.
Reply:i think it does, i've never really tried it. depending on what household ingredients u have:

the milk mask: pretty much u just(with a cotton ball) put cold whole milk on your face for 10 min, and rinse of with warm water, u can add honey too. for your eyes, when two green tea bags are cool enough, set them on your eyes for 10 min.

the lemon mask

basically, with the lemon juice or lemon, rub it on ur face, and set for 10 min. rinse off.

Interesting but hard riddle?

My friend showed me this riddle and its hard to answer

Percy has two problems. He must be operated on for appendicitis, and at the same time he has a highly infectious disease that will infect anyone who touches his bare skin. Three surgeons must operate on him one at a time. The first is Dr. Vern, the second is Dr. Hortence, and the third is Dr. Rufus. Each surgeon must wear rubber gloves on each hand when he or she operates. Percy’s disease will contaminate the outside of any glove worn.

Percy definitely has the disease. In addition, one of the doctors may have the disease, but you do not know which one.

As the operation begins, Nellie Nurse said, “Oh, no! We only have two pairs of sterile gloves.” No more gloves are available. None can be sterilized in time. The doctors must operate immediately.

How do the doctors operate without contaminating each other? Nellie Nurse knows. Do you?

Interesting but hard riddle?
Maybe 2 of the doctors can operate one handed and share a pair of gloves?

Or, if one of the doctors is operating on him to cure the skin disease, just let him go first.

Ooh! I think maybe I have it.

OK, so the first doctor puts of both pairs of gloves. So when he's done, the inside of the outside pair is clean. So the second doctor wears the outer pair that the first doctor had on.

Then, the third doctor wears the inside pair that the first doctor wore - but inside out. The outside of that pair were never contaminated because of the second pair.

I hope that makes sense. Is that the answer???
Reply:By using comdoms?
Reply:the first doctor wears both pairs of gloves, then ... cant think it out right
Reply:yes i do know, i will not let the contaminated doctor wear a pair of gloves, and give the chance to the incontaminated doctors!!!!!!
Reply:one of the doctors is also the patient

Tanning for very fair-skinned persons!?

I am very ligh-skinned and have tanned in tanning beds before, but for some reason I burn at times and other times I do not. I realize it depends on the bed, but is there a good time-increasing schedule that I can use so I don't burn? i.e., first session, 3 min, second session 5 min, etc

Tanning for very fair-skinned persons!?
yes, I use to work at a tanning salon that was smart tan certified, depending on how light you are you need to start out small, like 3 minutes (for 2 sessions) then maybe 5 mintues (for 2-3 sessions) then 7 and so on until you build it up. That is the BEST way to not burn and it will actually help you maintain a tan longer then those places that don't care about your skin and throw you in there for 15 minutes. Take care!
Reply:hello.

i am VERY VERY FAIR SKINNED.

what you do is put on sunblock 15 minutes before you go to tan...

then tan for 15 minutes and then put more sunblock on...

then you tan for like20 minutes...

just do it carefully
Reply:being fair skinned... you are so much more susceptible to skin cancer... i think fair skin is beautiful... wear sunscreen... even if you don't burn and you just tan... that is still a negative reaction to the sunlight.

visit this website to learn more about it.

Reply:I agree with the girl above!! Be careful!! I work with a lady that has been getting skin cancer removed--all from going to the tanning beds. Use sunscreen and do not burn!!
Reply:im fair - skinned too and i was born %26amp; i live in ireland. shocker

huh? so anyway, dont go NEAR a tanning bed! it makes your tan look fake. i did it %26amp; i looked like Dolly Parton!ha ha,

very funny!so DONT go near a tanning bed. trust me.

LOL xxxxxx
Reply:hey usually when i go ,

i get a x4 or x5 bronzer..

because im so light,

it doesnt make my look like,

bronze, or yellow or orange

but usually i go the,

super 1 bed ( which is the lightest bed)

and i go for 15 minutes,

now i have only been 4 times,

but after your fourth visit you start to bring out your natural, skin colur when you tan,

so just try differnt bronzers, until you find the one that works for you,

(ask the lady behind the counter for help picking one)

and then make sure to moistrize..

:)
Reply:If you're fair skinned, what are you doing using tanning beds? Us paleys need to use lot's of sunscreen and avoid the sun like crazy.

I've already had 2 fair skinned in-laws treated surgically for malignant melanoma.

The damages don't show up when you're young..........but they sure do in middle age via skin damage.

I think I have a chemical burn under my eye, what should I use on it??

long story short, i got a cut by the inside of my eye last week, I didnt want it to scab over and didnt have any neosporin around or anything for that matter, but (blush) I did have some clear hemeroid cream (yea... i know....) and figured good enough, just needed to cover it w/ something. Was fine for a day or so, then when I was out I got some offbrand tripple antibiotic cream. I put it over it (just put it on in hte truck, so I didnt wash and remove all the hemeroid cream that was worked in). next morning I woke up to a big swollen area under my eye and chaffing on the inside of hte nose/eye area where hte cut was. I scrubbed off all the ointments, and just applied hte regular tripple, it's been over a week the swelling went down on the second day, but I still have a dark spot under my eye (almost like a black eye), and the skin is chaffing and crinkly. Did I get some sort of chemical burn mixing? or perhaps a bad tripple cream?? What do I need to put on it, no insurance, so no Doc

I think I have a chemical burn under my eye, what should I use on it??
I don't know if you have a burn. Only a Dr could tell you that. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with my eyes. I don't have insurance at the moment either so I can relate. If it's at all possible financially, go to one of those walk-in places. Where I live they're called Patient First. It's cheaper than you might think and they are able to handle everything within their facility. Or, check online to see if you have a free or reduced clinic in your area. Also, call a pharmacy and ask the Pharmacist if the ingredients could be dangerous to your eyes. Oh yeah, check your local hospital website. A lot of them have a section on there called "Dial A Nurse" You can email them or call with your question. That's about all I can tell you but you really do need to go to a Dr. Good Luck
Reply:Call a freaking doctor!!! This is not something you want to mess around with. You could go blind. Dont be an idiot and see a doctor!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Boric Acid can be used in the eye, a doctor may prescribe a medicated cream that could help also
Reply:go see a doctor. now.

i don't care how much it costs, if you can't afford it, inform friends/family of your condition and hopefully someone will help you out.

your vision so important, is it really worth risking that?

surely there are things that you can do without in order to save up some money...

all the best, and remember, it's better to be safe than sorry

Does anybody know someone who had a "pregnancy rash"?

When I was 5 months pregnant with my son, I had an allergic reaction to a shampoo that I use before I was pregnant and up until that point in which case I then had an allergic reaction. It caused me to be allergic to the hormones that I was producing while I was pregnant. It looked and felt like poison ivy from head to toe. It itched really bad. It was gone within an hour after I had my son except for the scars. I was just wondering how common it was. I'm now pregnant with my second son and i'm 30 weeks and nothing like that has happened again. And I have REALLY sensitive skin now.

Does anybody know someone who had a "pregnancy rash"?
I did. It was horrible, I was breaking out all during my pregnancy and for months after. It was so itchy and unpleasant and I had to start using Cetaphil, which is a really great soap, even though it's $4.00 a bar, but I don't break out anymore. I had to start using perfum and dye free laundry detergent, stop using fabric softeners and if I touch certain things, that have yet to be identified, my fingers will swell and itch. Also every once in a while my throat will swell, I still haven't been able to point out what that is either. Pregnancy really messed me up, lol, but it was well worth it to get my little girl.
Reply:it is v.rare but can occur anytime
Reply:I have heard of this happening and in severe cases the women have to have the baby early. Some women are actually poisoned by thier babies. Someone else on here had a rash.
Reply:Well, I do know some people who suffered from this problem. Even my wife suffered from the same. It was gone the moment my son was born. It was the same with her sister. But there are others who never had this problem. So, itmust depend upon case to case.
Reply:My cousin had it with both of her children. She already has allergy issues though.
Reply:I never had it that bad, but I seem to get weird rashes that just show up then go away. It's very common to what my sister and mom get, who have chronic eczema problems. Our main eczema rash (there's one non-itchy one in particular that we all have in common) only seems to show up for me during pregnancy, and didn't go away after the last one. It started getting more of it this pregnancy too.
Reply:I had the condition with both of my children and now when I get stressed it returns. I have never felt anything that itched that bad!
Reply:there is an amazing product called Pinxav that is a miracle product for rashes. They have a web site, check it out. You'll love this stuff. NBC's Today show is featuring it this friday for a segment on great summer products. Daily Candy is also writing about them this Friday.

Toe Injury, What should I do?

Yesterday at work I dropped a small but heavy item on my big toe. I couldn't walk on it for a few hours after as it was so painful the pain made me feel ill.

This morning the toe was fine apart from mild pain when I bend it, I have been to work and carried on as normal. But I had a bath before and my toe has swolen up and the skin is gradually getting darker. I have a very red bruise on the side closer to my second toe and would you believe a very purple bruise on the underneath of the toe??

Getting slight pins and needles in and there is a mild but constant throbbing pain. Will it just go away or will I need to see a doctor?

Toe Injury, What should I do?
The pins and needles is natural- just due to the inflamation.

Doesn't sound like a fracture-the pain would be more than mild, but might be worth getting it checked anyway. Hop along to your local A%26amp;E, you'll get x-rayed quicker than if you go to your GP. If it isa fracture, they'll probably splint it- ie put padding between big toe oand secon, and tape the two together. Get it checked though. My mum and I have both had big toe fractures- I got mine fixed and now no problem. My mum ignored it and still has pain THIRTY YEARS later!!
Reply:Try soaking it in ammonia and hot water. Due to the injury there is inflamation caused by acid. Since ammonia is a base, it will neutralize, causing the inflamation to decrease.
Reply:It will just have to go away. Even if you went to the doctor, they would tell you that they can't do anything to help it except buddy wrap which you could do on your own without paying for an appointment. Just ice it, buddy wrap the toe with the toe next to it (remember to put gauze inbetween them), and take it easy for about 3 days. It will still hurt, but if it is broken, it will have time to heal before you get back on your feet.

After the 3 days, you'll be able to do whatever you did before, but it might still hurt so take some pain killers. I ran track meets with my broken toe and it was fine, so good luck!
Reply:Theres not much you can do for a sore toe but i would advise you to go to A %26amp; E and get it checked out as the swelling around the toe could be a small fracture.. It wasnt that long ago i took my son to A %26amp; E for stubbing his toe and his toe was fractured. Had very similar symptoms to yourself. They only put a bandage on it for supprt as there isnt really much you can do for a toe.. Take painkillers and brufon at regular intervals but please do not exceed dosage.....
Reply:Toes other than the big toe are treated with strapping and aren't even xrayed in most A+e's. The difference with the big toe is that it is important in weightbearing ( as opposed to the others) I would therefore advise that you do go and get it checked out and xrayed if necessary. In the meantime elevate your foot, ice (wrapped in a towel so not directly in contact with skin) and, assuming you not asthmatic or suffer with stomach ulcers, regular ibuprofen or similar anti imflammatory.
Reply:You have probably broke it, i did the same about 2 years ago, i couldn't walk for ages and had to wear open toe sandles, the doctors carn't do anything. Its a fact we break out toes without even knowing it!
Reply:I fractured my second toe over a year ago. I went to the doctor and had it X-rayed. The doctor told me to tape it to the middle toe. I did this and wore a slipper for a few months and didn't put much stress on it. Once in a while it still swells up a bit and looks bruised. Today I started to feel pain on the top of my foot just below the fractured toe and it's a bit swollen too. I've read that a broken toe never heals but is this normal? Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Reply:It sounds like your toe could be broken. you may want to tape it up and see your doctor. In the meantime though I'd say stay off your foot as much as possible, ice it, and wear open toed shoes to keep comfortable.

Hope your toe gets better soon.
Reply:Because this was an injury at work i hope you have documented it in an accident book. this help to protect you if there are any long term problems.

the pain and pins and needles you are suffering are due the bruise and the swelling in order to help the swelling go down you should elevate you foot so rest for a few days.and take some pain killers do not exceed the recommended dose (see the box) I should feel better in a few days and be better in 1 or 2 weeks.I think really you should see a doctor in a%26amp;e department as it was a work accident . good luck

It's been 5 years- Why can't I stop thinking about my ex?

I dated this guy when I was 16. We clicked so well and would talk and talk on the phone for hours. I fell in love with him, but I had no idea how much I really did love him until he was gone. Less than 3 months later, he broke up with me, for unknown reasons. I cried myself to sleep for months. Now, I'm 21, and not a day goes by that I haven't thought about him. I think about what it would be like to be with him, why we broke up, what his skin felt like on mine, how badly I want to see him, even if just for a second. I've tried everything that I can think of to get him off my brain; I've tried talking about it, dating other people, cutting him out of my life... nothing has worked. I recently met up with him and we had sex, because I thought that it might help, but it hasn't. It only made things worse. What is wrong with me? And does this mean that he's the one for me and I'm destined to be alone? Should I even try being with someone else if I know that I'll always want this guy?

It's been 5 years- Why can't I stop thinking about my ex?
The problem is that you have set this guy and your relationship with him up on a stool and made it this grand thing that it will always be hard for any other relationship to compete with. The truth is he dumped you and now he used you for just sex. If this thing with this guy was so wonderful then when you two got together again it wouldn't have been about sex, it would have been a full reconnection and sharing of your lives. Some people are meant to just be friends and not lovers. When you accept this and stop trying to compare old feelings and emotions to every new relationship that comes along then you will finally have a chance at finding real love.
Reply:That's crazy,move on.Unless you two get together for a dirty scenerio.Heee-Heee.....
Reply:I have the same idea in my brain about a guy I went out with when I was 16... that was 34 years ago...

no I haven't ever had sex with him... but there was something very pivotal about him at that time of my life... I love that fact that I think of him..but I am married now and would never act on it..even if I saw him again

Thats what memories are for.. to remember fondly those that touched our hearts... and that is all it is!
Reply:you've never really moved on i have a friend like this, it's not healthy he is still in love with a girl he was with only for about a year and a half. he told me he still thinks about her. You have to move on. and you won't always want this guy it will go away. YOU MUST MOVE ON, unless you enjoy torturing yourself to no end, and the sex was a bad idea. I wish you the best of luck
Reply:You only knew him for three months. You never really got to know who he is. Your impression of him is a fantasy.

Maybe you should talk to other ex-girlfriends he has had to find out more about him. Once you learn to dislike him you can forget the fantasy.
Reply:move on baby! its the best favour you can do to yourself.
Reply:It's because your delicate emotions are at work. You loved this guy. You still do. You won't forget him until you find someone to take his place in your heart.

Love is a tricky thing. I'm separated from my wife of 8 years, because she decided that her online boyfriend meant more to her than our kids and I. I gave her every oppurtunity to stay and continue with our lives. She left anyway. It hurts, but it seems to not hurt when I'm lucky enough to have someone get close to me. My feelings of love for my wife wane and fade little by little when my emotional needs are met by someone new.

I wish you luck, and hope that someone will come along who is man enough to fill that huge void in your heart. You deserve it. We all do.
Reply:Humm I've been there with my exboyfriend. Now I don't know what is up with us but I still love him. However I know that I can't only be his friend and defenetly having sex with him would only make it worst! Girl, why in the world did you go and have sex with your ex!?? Didn't you know that when you are intimate with someone is to create a bond. You want to bond with him but does he? Have you told him how you feel? WHat did he say? Look, I am all for you getting him back. BUT, keep your self-respect. If he doesn't respond the way you want then move on. Keep him in your heart but give yourself the opportunity to be happy , even if it is with someone else. Be strong, if its meant to be it will be!
Reply:Ok well..

This is weird, but i met the guy i loved huge time when iwas 16 and we dated for a year and a half. He broke up wit hme because of his MOTHER. can u imagine, he was convinced i was the wrong one, and yet before he promised me marriage, we used to look at other ocuples who broke up and said that would never happen. i was a hundred and one percent sure he was the one. its been a year since we broke up, and it took me around 1O-11 months to get over him. i think you have to realize that this guy is not the right guy. you could try telling him how you felt, but obviously, this may sound harsh, but he is not reciprocating any feelings. the fact that he had sex with you but took no opportunities to pursue something shows his lack of commitment to you. I can understand that you dont feel like your EVER going to get over him, because it feels like love that will last forever. but, you have to realize that your life is not about the two of you anymore, its about YOU and only YOU. not him. you dont seem tired enough, think about how much this guy is draining your energy-how long do you want to keep living like this? you may feel strongly for this guy, but believe me- you have the power to get out of it. our minds are normally the culprit that continually tell us one experience was so great and we can never have the same thing or are afraid to let go of it because it was one of the most special things we received and we fear whether we can receive again

. im sorry that this post is getting realy long , but have faith that some better man will come your way soon- you have to decide that that is your future, and it will come to you whenever it is supposed to . let go of any fear or anxiety. and you know what, im pretty sure this is a matter of ego, after five years. i think when we first break up with someone we love, were hurt at first. but any arise of old feelings is just " i am so good, i loved him, i gave to him, i am a good person, why did he leave me, why did he have to hurt ME". once you realize this, you will stop feeling so insecure, and move on, look ahead and KNOW that is the only direction you can look, and that you will move on and find someone perfect for you. focus on other things in your life now, things that will make you happy.

good luck and again sorry for extremely long post.
Reply:hi first,

look in order to know why cant you forget about somone you should first know why did you love him, we generaly fall in love when

1- we find somone that is similar to us to what we like about ourselves and not similiar to us to what we do hate about ourselves

for example if you were shy but intellegent you may love a intellegent but confident person

2- we fall in love when somone meets a certain criteria that is detmerind by our mind, this critera could be "he should not be fat,he should have black eyes,he should be of the same cultural back ground....etc"

now after you knew why do you love somone, you can know why cant you forget about somone,

1- not meeting somone else who is a better match than your old partner, this will make you always compare both and so remember the old one

2- always hearing songs that reminds you of him or going to a places where you used to go together, dont let the small seed grow into a tree, just cut the water supply

3- going into another relation just to escape bad mood or just for relationship addiction and not for real love. if that was the case, offcourse this new fake relation wont last and the old one will win

4- abnormal relationship termnination, if your old relation terminated suddently and he disspaeard, most probabaly you will still be having hope of getting back, this hope is waht makes you unable to forget, either force the relation back or cut this hope by asking him wether you could be back together or not.

5- i copied all information from that website
